I am not a film critic nor is this write up supposed to make a movie review. Although I am inspired to pen down a few thoughts after having sailed a few hours of turbulence witnessing the 16 reel bollywood drama called READY. I get to understand that the producer has been successful in selling the movie tickets and is laughing all the way to his bank in just a few days performance. Surely he knew the secret to success in the industry. Was it Salman Khan, the dabang, who is responsible for this success or is this the new actress Asin or is it the marketing strategy which has made the movie a financial success? I feel the answer to these questions has been revealed in the movie itself. In one particular set of events in the story the hero of the movie mentions about MP & UP in a man’s life where MP stands for Memory Power & UP stands for “Unimaginable Power”.
